Beatrice McLaren

Graveside services for Beatrice McLaren will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 25, 2016, at Weaver Cemetery in Flora, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Beatrice, 85 years of age, of Provencal, LA, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on November 23, 2016. She was born December 20, 1930, in Flora, LA. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She touched the lives of many people. Her kindness and her cooking will always be remembered by those who knew 'Granny Bea'. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Armon Rials Sr. and Rufus McLaren; one son, Armon Rials Jr.; her parents, Marshall Huffman and Rushie Mae Crow Huffman; two sisters, Rachel Bailey and Mary Treadway; and one brother, H.A. Huffman. She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Ann O'Bannon and her husband Eddie of Tioga, LA and Connie Denise Broadway and her husband Darren of Coldwater, MS; her daughter-in-law, Jeanette Taylor; seven grandchildren, Tim O'Bannon, Trent O'Bannon, Jeremy Rials and wife Sherry, Darren Broadway, Jr. and wife JoAnn, Waylon Rials and wife Jessie, Colinda Walls, and Harlei Rains and husband Jeremy; twelve great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Daniel, Hunter, Savannah, Jackson, Troy, Jayce, Alexis, Trevor, Kendall, Wes, and Aubree; one great-great-grandchild, Bentley; and one sister, Virgie Powell of Robeline, LA. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
