Jacqueline Ann Feazell DuFrene, 74, of Campti, LA passed away on November 24, 2016 in Houston, TX.
Jacqueline was born in Pineville, LA to AJ Jr. and Catherine Shuff Feazell on September 5, 1942. She married Riley Daniel DuFrene, Sr. on January 29, 1961 in New Orleans, LA.
Jacqueline is preceded in death by her father, AJ Feazell, Jr. and her sister, Pamela Jean Feazell.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband, Riley Daniel DuFrene, Sr.; her children, Riley DuFrene, Jr. and wife Doris, Dimple Bowers and husband Brent, Rhonda Edwards and husband Vincent, Silas DuFrene; Jerry DuFrene and wife Laura; one brother, AJ Feazell, III and wife Karla; four sisters, Bessie Chance and husband Donald; Linda Chance and her late husband Daniel Chance, Claudine DuFrene and husband Michael, and Ruth Feazell; her mother, Catherine Feazell of Campti.
She was blessed with 11 grandchildren, Brett bowers and wife Heather, Joshua DuFrene and wife Sabre, Megan Colston and husband Jackie, Brittney Henneke and husband Jason, Paige Edge and husband Colin, Nick Edwards and wife Courtney, Justin DuFrene and wife Kaila, Tiffany DuFrene, Candace Montemayor and husband Jonathan, Chelsea May and husband Jarid, and Bethany Bowers; as well as her great grandchildren, Luke Bowers, Riley DuFrene, Gabrielle Edwards, Rosalie Edge, Nate DuFrene, Wyatt DuFrene, Levi Bowers, Blake DuFrene, Violet DuFrene, Andrew Edwards, Elizabeth DuFrene, Alexander May, Grayson Edwards, and Baby Colston and Baby May on the way.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Brett Bowers, Joshua DuFrene, Nick Edwards, Justin DuFrene, Jackie Colston, Jason Henneke, Colin Edge, and Jonathan Montemayor.
Jacqueline leaves a legacy of family ministry in word and music. She was talented in many different areas including painting and ceramics, writing, floristry, and photography. Above all she treasured her family. She taught her family traditional values and the importance of a family bond. She was loved by all and loved all. She always made those around her feel valued and important. She believed in demonstrating Christ in every word or deed. There will never be a more amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Am Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Family Worship Center in Campti, LA. Burial will follow at the Family Worship Center Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Tuesday, November 29th at the Family Worship Center located at 330 Sandy Point Road, Campti, LA.
