Ashley "Bud" LaCaze, Jr.

On December 5, 2016, Ashley E. “Bud” LaCaze, Jr. passed away at the Courtyard of Natchitoches with his wife and youngest son by his side. Bud was born May 30, 1941 in Flora, LA. He graduated from Flora High School and then honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1962. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Ashley and Selezie (Thomasee) LaCaze and his oldest sister, Orena Harrington. Bud is survived by his wife of 30 years, Vivian LaCaze; his sisters, Bonnie Lonkar and her husband Neil, Edna Smith and her husband Wayne, and Debra Perkins and her husband Bill. He is survived by 7 children, Todd LaCaze and his wife Donna, Dustin LaCaze and his wife Erin, deNa LaCaze Gushlaw and her husband Drew, Billy Moore and his wife Suzanne, Trina Myatt, Kristy Rison and her husband Fred, and Brian Moore. He was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A service to celebrate his life will be at 1 pm Friday, December 9, 2016 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Brown leading the service. Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery of Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 10 am until service time on Friday the 9th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches.
