Graveside service for Larry Wise will be at 12 noon Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Beulah Methodist Cemetery in Marthaville, LA. The family will receive friends from 9 am until 11:30 am on the 29th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Larry, 69 years of age and a resident of Gilmer, TX, passed away December 25, 2016 at his residence. He was born April 7, 1947 to Charles Benjamin Wise and Marjorie Loughmiller Wise in Indianapolis, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Charles “PeeWee” Benjamin Wise, Jr. and Lester Benjamin Wise; and a sister, Cindy Turner. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Collins Wise; his daughters, Tracie Tullar and her husband David and their children, Aaron Mathew and his wife Becca, Whitle Marsh her husband Jacob, Blake Boudreaux and John Boudreaux; Shellie McCreary and her husband Alan and their children, Jessica Nauss and husband Jeremy, Heather McCreary, Justin McCreary, Hollie McCreary, Ally McCreary; Cathie Hebert and her husband Shawn and their children, Cara Higgenbotham, Justin Hebert, Wade Higgenbotham; Amanda McNamara and her husband Richard Jr. and their children Noah Wilber, Madison Wilber, Daniel Wilber and Richard McNamara, III; his sons, Larry Joseph Wise, Jr. and Ashely Allen; Scott Allen Wise and his wife Crystal Forgy and their child, Emma Forgy; his brothers and sisters, Sheilah Morgan, Rex Wise, Kim Furrh, Pam Griffin, Tim Wise and Tina Sanford; 7 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
