Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Louise Angely will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Briarwood Baptist Church in Readhimer, LA with Rev.'s Trey Etheridge and Barry Teutsch officiating. Interment will follow the services at Marthaville Cemetery in Marthaville, LA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, January 09, 2017 at Briarwood Baptist Church. Peggy Angely, 81, of Ashland, LA, completed her race of faith at 3:40 pm on Saturday, January 07, 2016 at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, LA in the presence of her children. She had battled Primary Peritoneal Cancer for the past two years and won the victory as she became absent from her body and present with the Lord. She was born November 11, 1935, to Milliston Salley and Tessie Eva Middleton Salley in Pleasant Hill, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers; three sisters; and one granddaughter, Paula Diane Pace. She is survived by her children, Judy Diane Pace and husband Ronnie of White Oak, GA, Bruce Duane Teutsch and wife Cindy of McComb, MS, Rev. Barry D. Teutsch and wife Molly of Hawkinsville, GA, and Jeri Denise Shoemaker and husband Timmy of Chestnut, LA; one sister, Eva Pearl Henry of Little Rock, AR; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Pace and wife Mia, Robby Pace and wife Crystal, Randall Pace and wife Emma, Wesley Teutsch and wife Yesenia, Samuel Teutsch and wife Victoria, Garrett Teutsch, Rachel Bradberry, Lindsey Teutsch, Ashley Shoemaker, and Kelsey Shoemaker; and her great-grandchildren, Ali Pace, Lauren Pace, Nicole Pace, Audree Bradberry, Conner Bradberry, Paisley Teutsch, and Hunter Teutsch; and numerous nieces and nephews. Those honored to be pallbearers are Jeffrey Pace, Robby Pace, Randall Pace, Wesley Teutsch, Samuel Teutsch, Garrett Teutsch, and Timmy Shoemaker. The family would like to offer a very special thanks to all who lovingly cared for their mother during the past two years as she courageously battled cancer: Dr. Anil Veluvolu and the staff at Willis-Knighton Cancer Center, Natchitoches Regional Medical Center Staff, Harmony Health, and Hospice of Natchitoches. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritans Purse or Gideons International in memory of Mrs. Peggy.
