Funeral service for Mrs. Frances Jacquelyn "Jackie" Rachal will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2017, in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Currie officiating. Interment will follow in Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until service time Saturday at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. Jackie, 83 years of age, passed away on January 12, 2017, in Natchitoches, LA. She was born June 13, 1933, in Rayville, LA to William Dewey Roberts and Myrtle Harrell Roberts. She was a strong and devoted mother and grandmother; a lady in all regards; and a caregiver to all of her family. Her home was the central hub for all of the family get-togethers. It was a place where life-long memories were made. She was a caring person, taking time not only to raise her children but many of her grandchildren as well. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by three sons, Michael Rachal and wife Christy, Brian Rachal and wife Jean, Jason Rachal and wife Nichole, all of Natchitoches; one daughter, Cynthia Lynn Bennett of Robeline, LA; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley Doolittle and husband Bill of Alexandria, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Dennis Rachal and Anette Rachal; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Ann Rachal and a daughter in law, Connie Rachal. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Jackie.
