Pamela Elizabeth Shatoska

Pamela Elizabeth Shatoska passed away on January 28, 2017. She was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on August 25, 1953 to Henry and Virginia Curtis Shatoska. Her remains will be interred with her mother in Carencro, LA. She enjoyed her gardening and took much pride in her cooking. She was an excellent cook. She loved her grandchildren very much. Pamela always made the people around her laugh and smile. To say she was an absolutely incredible woman was an understatement. She will be very missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Shatoska of Athens, TX and Virginia Curtis of Ferris, TX; her husband, Larry Firmin of Bayou Sorrell, LA; her sister, Reba Olds; and her brothers, Lynn Shatoska of Many, LA, Troy Shatoska of Slidell, LA and Henry Curtis Shatoska of Houma, LA. She is survived by her daughters, Shannon Ruiz of San Diego, CA and Emily Firmin of Robeline, LA; a special nephew who was like a brother and loved her dearly, Roger Shatoska of Robeline, LA; sisters, Diane Justilien and her husband Roy of Lafayette, LA and Gloiria Doane and husband Steve of Layfeyette, LA; four grandchildren, Marivia Firmin, Henry Thomas, Keegan Ruiz and Kennedy Ruiz; and 14 nieces and nephews.
