A Mass of Christian Burial for Kristy Marie LaCour will be at 11 am Friday, February 17, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cloutierville, LA with Rev. Kenneth Obiekwe serving as celebrant. Burial will follow at Cloutierville Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until service time on the 17th at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, located at 423 LA-495, Cloutierville, LA 71416. Kristy, 36 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017. She was born April 3, 1980, to Ricky and Barbara LaCour in Pineville, LA. Kristy was truly a one of a kind person and touched so many people around her. Even though she had her “own way” of doing things, she never hesitated to help anyone in need. Her glowing personality and charm would light up any room she entered. A loving and caring mother and daughter, her family was one of the most important things in her life. She loved her Lord and it showed by the honesty and truthfulness she lived her life by. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten by her family and many friends. She is survived by her children, Deontre’ Deshawn Coutee, Thomas Canaday, Alyunna Diamond LaCour and Jasmine Symone’ LaCour; her parents, Ricky Joseph LaCour and Barbara Ann LaCour; a brother, Ricky James LaCour; grandparents, Clara and Hubert Lacour and Gustina LaCour; as well as many uncles, aunts, and many friends. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Carlous Armstrong, Dennis Armstrong, Jr., Damian LaBom, Joshua Monette, and Dwayne Rice. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Rachal, Anthony Rachal, Mark LaCour and James Ray LaBom.
