Wanda Annette Pinder

Funeral services for Ms. Wanda Pinder will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 09, 2017, at Northside Baptist Church in Montgomery, LA with Rev. Chuck LaCroix officiating. Interment will follow at St. Maurice Cemetery in St. Maurice, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Wednesday, March 08, 2017, at Northside Baptist Church. Annette, 64 years of age, of Montgomery, LA, passed March 06, 2017, in Natchitoches, LA. She was born August 28, 1952, in Pineville, LA to Buford Pinder, Sr. and Louise Perot Pinder. She was a hard worker and loving mother. She loved to be on the go and enjoyed the quality time she spent with her friends. She loved to play pool and was quite talented at it. She loved her grandchildren dearly and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her parents; her two children, Venessa Spikes Lester and Gerry Wayne Lummus and his wife Melinda; two grandsons, Justin and Aston Lester; one granddaughter, Emma Grace Lummus; her sister, Pat Lloyd and her husband Boyd; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Steven Lloyd; three brothers, L.J. Lachney, Michael Lachney, and Buford Pinder, Jr; and one sister, Linda Lewis. Those honored to be pallbearers will be Michael Lloyd, Daniel Lloyd, Trey Pinder, Jerry Coutee, Duston Pickett, and John Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Lewis, Boyd Lloyd, Harvey Pinder, and Gary Pinder.
