Mina Mae Coleman Graves, 89, passed away on March 16, 2017 at The Courtyard of Natchitoches. Born on August 16, 1927, Mae grew up in Marianna, AR. Mae was preceded in death by her husband William Austin Graves Jr. and son Daniel Austin Graves. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Linda Burke Graves, granddaughter Taylor Graves Williams, grandson Michael Wayne Graves, and five great grandchildren. During their marriage, Mae and Bill made their home in many communities throughout the continental United States while traveling for work. Mae settled in Natchitoches, LA with her son’s family for the last 10 years. Mae worked with Avon for over 30 years becoming a top sales expert and achieving supervisory status. During retirement, she created many memories with friends by living out her dream of traveling. Mae will be greatly missed by family and friends. The family wishes to extend their thanks for the loving care provided to Mae from the staff at The Courtyard of Natchitoches. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. A grave-side service for Mina Mae Coleman Graves will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Memory Lawn Cemetery, with a processional leaving Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home at 10:15 a.m.
