Wade passed away May 25, 2017, at the age of 68 at the Courtyard of Natchitoches surrounded by family members after fighting a long hard battle with leukemia. He was born November 9th, 1948 to Wallace LeBrun and Willie May Guin LeBrun and spent the majority of his life on the Campti Bayou Road near Campti Louisiana. Wade was a hard worker and a good provider for his family. During his early years, he worked for the Riley Beaird Company in Shreveport for 10 years. In addition to this, he worked various construction jobs until he became completely disabled. Wade was quiet by nature with not too much to say, had his own way of thinking, but could be witty at times.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and infant twin brother, Warren Wayne LeBrun, and a niece Melanie Windham.
Wade is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Lillian Williamson LeBrun; a daughter Kim Metoyer and husband Thomas and twin grandsons, Matthew and Michael Metoyer of San Diego, CA. One son, Kerry Wade LeBrun and wife Stephanie; one granddaughter RaeLynn LeBrun; and two step-granddaughters, Mason and Sarah, all of Campti, LA. He is also survived by four brothers, Billy and his wife Vicki LeBrun and Michael LeBrun, all of Shreveport, Bobby ”Chubby” LeBrun, Bruce LeBrun and his wife Charlene; two sisters, Peggy Smith and husband Ronnie and Gloria LeBrun, all of Campti; as well as six nephews and one niece.
