Betty Jo LaCaze Wallace

Funeral service for Mrs. Betty Jo Wallace will be at 1 pm Friday, June 2, 2017, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Weaver Cemetery in Flora, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Betty, 70 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017, in New Orleans, LA. She was born on April 17, 1947, to Carroll LaCaze and Christine Moreau LaCaze in Natchitoches. Betty took pride in being a homemaker and providing for her family. She was especially proud of the impeccable yard in which she loved to work. She was also an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Marvin Wallace; a son, Joey Wallace and his wife Jamie; grandchildren, Taylor and Susan Wallace; sisters, Edna Cardino, Nina Kay, and Lawana Groth; a brother Sonny LaCaze; and her in-laws, Lois Shaw, Gary, Chris and Kelly Wallace. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Kenneth Kay, Fred "Bubba" Cardino, Billy Kay, Billy Clark, Corey LaCaze, and Fred Cardino.
