Funeral services for Jacob Robb Kuhlmann will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 08, 2017, at Freedom Life Church in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Stanley Clemons officiating. Interment will follow at Montgomery Cemetery in Montgomery, LA. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time on Thursday at Freedom Life Church.
Jacob, age 22, passed from this life on Saturday, June 03, 2017, in Montgomery, LA. He was born on March 22, 1995, in Natchitoches, LA. Jacob was a loving father to his little girl. He loved the outdoors, whether it was fishing or hunting, and enjoyed working with machinery of any kind; cars, planes, boats, or earth moving equipment, it didn’t matter. He was adventurous and fearless. He was a member of Freedom Life Church in Natchitoches, LA. Jacob was funny and kind and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Robb Kuhlmann; and his grandfathers, Reginald Kuhlmann and Kirby Jones.
He is survived by his daughters, Brittaney Dell Kuhlmann and Harlie Karol Kuhlmann (expected to arrive soon); his fiancé, Allison N. Stevens; his mother, Miranda Jones Mayrand and her husband Toby of Natchitoches, LA; his brother, Tobias Lee “TJ” Mayrand of Natchitoches, LA; his paternal grandmother, Margie Kuhlmann of Montgomery, LA; his maternal grandmother, Aleene Hale and her husband, Mark of Montgomery, LA; his great-grandmothers, Betty J Hawthorne and Opal Mae Jones, both of Montgomery, LA; his uncles, Lee Kuhlmann and wife Stacy, Tracy Jones, and Jeffrey Jones and wife Leonora, all of Montgomery, LA; his aunt, Brandi Culbreth and her husband Brandon of Bossier City, LA; and a host of cousins and other close family members.
Those honored to be pallbearers will be Mark Hale, Tracy Jones, Jeffrey Jones, Rickey Stevens, Kade Kuhlmann, and Vane Kuhlmann. Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Kuhlmann, Jalen Kuhlmann, Rylan Kuhlmann, and Craig Griffin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the love fund set up for his daughters, Brittany and soon to arrive, Harlie, at Montgomery Bank in memory of Jacob.
