Thelma Alice Smith Dodd

Funeral service for Mrs. Thelma Dodd will be 10 am Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Kisatchie Baptist Church with Larry Vaughn and Joe Cruse officiating. Interment will follow at Kisatchie Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Blanchard St Denis from 5pm until 8pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 and again from 9am until service time at the church on Wednesday. Mrs. Dodd, 88, passed away Monday, September 14, 2009. She was born January 7, 1921 to the late Wesley Elmer Smith and late Laura (Bennett) Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Dodd; daughter, Gladys Dodd. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Roland Dodd and his wife Marilyn, James Dodd and his wife Karen and Alton Dodd and his wife Sandra; and sister, Annie Lee Fuller. Pallbearers will be Kevin Murphy, Jesse Lowe, Andrew Lowe, Marion Dodd, Jarod Dodd, Zane Walker and Julian Ray.
