Homegoing services for Mrs. Joyce Renee Brister will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Lonnie Shivers officiating. Interment will follow at Weaver Cemetery in Flora, LA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Joyce was a simple and loving lady who enjoyed the quiet things in life. She loved her family dearly and was always a strong foundation in their lives. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in the death by her parents, Herman and Hazel Moss; her oldest son, Robert Heath Brister; and her granddaughters Kelcie Paige Vercher and Isabella Kate Brian. She is survived by her husband and soul mate of 42 years, Robert Brister; her daughters, Heather Renee' Settle and husband Travis and Katelyn Jean Brian and husband Charles; two sons, Joshua Adam Brister and Derek Jurald Brister; and ten grandchildren Julie, Tyler, Hunter, Brantley, Ryan Heath, Jaxon, Hayden, Kailey, Brook, and Taylor.
