Donald LaCour

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Donald LaCour, Sr. will be celebrated at 10 am Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Natchitoches with Rev. John O’Brien serving as celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum in Isle Brevelle, LA. The family will receive friends from 9 am until the time of Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church located at 911 5th Street, Natchitoches, LA 71457. Donald, 80 years of age and a resident of Natchez, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. He was born December 9, 1936, in Melrose, LA to Percy and Alice Llorens LaCour. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Shirley LaCour; and a brother, Bobby Joe LaCour. He is survived by his children, Cheryl LaCour, Karen LaCour (Tino), Bridget LaCour, Donald LaCour, Jr., Craig LaCour (Lucy), and Derrick LaCour (Cari); siblings, Horace LaCour (Nancy), Joan Metoyer (Cornelius), Alice McConnell, Barbara “Cookie” Rachal (Curtis Balthazar). He was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
