Karl Edwards

Karl Edwards, 65 years of age and a resident of Gorum, LA, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017, in Natchitoches. He was born December 29, 1951, to Obie and Mardrie (Rachal) Edwards in Natchitoches, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents. Karl retired as an over the road truck driver after many years behind the wheel. He enjoyed traveling across the entire United States but always loved returning to his home in Gorum. He is survived by his uncle, James Rachal and his wife Jean of Gorum, LA; and an aunt, Catherine M. Murphy of Burkburnett, TX; as well as many close friends. The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 9 pm on Friday, September 1, 2017, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel.
