Robert Cole Kirksey

Robert "Cole" Kirksey, 38, was born Sept. 28, 1971, and passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2009. A wake for family and friends will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23 at the home of Don and San Brown, 598 Monroe Drive. A service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 at Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Cole is survived by his mother, Sonjia Dollar Girndt of Winnsboro; father and stepmother, Don and San Brown of Natchitoches; stepfather, Max Dollar Jr. of Bastrop; grandmother, Rosie Brown of Winnsboro; brothers Christopher Dollar of Shreveport, Slader Brown of St. Helena, Calif., and Stoney Brown of Austin, Texas; an uncle, Keith Brown of Monroe; uncle and aunt, Richard and Sharron Harris of Tallulah; and a host of cousins and friends.
