John Idus Eubanks

Funeral service for Mr. John Eubanks will be at 10 am Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery near Hagewood, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Monday, December 4, 2017, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. John Eubanks, 71 years of age and a resident of Buras, LA, passed away November 26, 2017. He was born on August 11, 1946, to Oliver Eubanks and Mary Goins Eubanks in Blakely, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents. Although he lived in Louisiana for many years, he always considered Georgia his home. He worked for many years as a roustabout for the oil and gas industry. He was a beloved father and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his son, Johnathan Eubanks; his former wife, Nancy Holland; in-laws, George and Joanne Holland; nieces and nephews, Allie Boutwell, Stephanie Buras, Nicholas Buras, Malaysia Buras, David Holland, Stacy Holland, Phillip Castle, Melinda Corley, Bubba Moss, Adrian Hamburt, and Oscar, Jr.; as well as many cousins from Georgia.
