Oneitha was an avid fan of NASCAR. She loved growing flowers, vacationing on the beach and watching wildlife from her back porch on Cane River. Oneitha, better known to everyone as Nene, really enjoyed playing cards, BINGO, and board games with her grandchildren. Everyone who knew her had a funny Nene story they could share. She was always quick to offer you a drink and something to eat and never took no for an answer. Our camping trips, sharing her rock collection from every state she visited, and enjoying her colorful comments on Facebook are some of our best memories of Nene. She will be sadly missed by so many.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Sam McCain, Logan McCain, Eric Hernandez, Keith Hernandez, Brock Carpenter, Zachary Whitehead.
