Lula Agnes Walker

Lula Agnes Cordova Walker, age 92, of Robeline, LA, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2009, at her home in Robeline, LA. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM Sunday, November 1, 2009. The funeral service will be at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Monday, November 2, 2009, with Rev. J. D. McNeal officiating. Interment will be at Beulah Cemetery in Marthaville, LA. Mrs. Agnes lived a long and fulfilling life. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and loved to visit with her family. She was always jolly and kept a smile, even in the tough times. She had a very strong will, which helped her raise all eleven of her children. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jewel Walker, Sr.; her parents, Jim Cordova and Eula Cotton Cordova; two daughters, Bobbi Walker and Shirley Gass; two sons, Jewel Walker, Jr. and Ronnie Walker; and two granddaughters, Glenda Waters Cherry and Mellissa Brown. She is survived by her five daughters, Yvonne Moore of Robeline, LA, Gayle Winchell of Alexandria, LA, Kay Parker of Leesville, LA, Randi Crnkovic of Robeline, LA, and Kim Martin of Holden, LA; two sons, Kenneth Walker of Robeline, LA and Jerry Walker of Robeline, LA; twenty grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; one sister, Edrie Weeks of Marthaville, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
