Tommy Settle

A service to honor the life of Tommy Settle will be at 2 pm Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Jennings officiating. Burial will follow at Marthaville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 pm until 8 pm on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Tommy, age 53 and a resident of Marthaville, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018. He was born on June 16, 1964 to Arden and Billie (Byles) Settle in Natchitoches, LA. All that knew Tommy knew of his strong work ethic. His dedication to his job was a result of always being a great provider for his family. He enjoyed and was an integral part of his daughters lives, especially watching them excel in softball. During his spare time, he enjoyed bass fishing with family and friends. Tommy will always be remembered as a beloved husband, a great dad, and a loving son. We take comfort in knowing we will be re-united with him in heaven one day. He is survived by his wife, Racquel Settle; his daughters, Savanah and Summer Settle; his parents, Arden and Billie Settle; a brother, Tony Settle and his wife Tanya; sisters in law, Lisa Allbritton and husband Nathan and Crystal Ford and husband Brad; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Brian Settle, Randall Settle, Keith Lewing, Alton Powell, Nathan Allbritton, and Brad Ford.
