Thomas Vincent Choate

A service to honor the life of Thomas Vincent Choate will be at 1 pm Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Campti United Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow at Ramah Cemetery in Ashland, LA. The family will receive friends after 5 pm at Campti United Pentecostal Church located at 3123 Highway 71, Campti, Louisiana 71411. Thomas, 34 years of age and a resident of Readhimer, LA, passed away on January 7, 2018 from an auto accident. He was born on October 18, 1983 in Shreveport, LA. Thomas was a son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin and was loved by his family and friends. He meant so much too so many different people. Thomas was a one of a kind person that you would never forget once you met him. He had a smile that would light up a room. He was kooky at times but always made everyone around him laugh as well as a great personality that was out of this world. He will be truly missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his mother, Linda Choate of Readhimer and step-dad Ronnie Choate; maternal grandmother, Marie Goodwin; paternal grandmother, Daisy Choate; brother, Jeffery Choate and wife Gracie; 2 nieces, 4 nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. He held a close relationship to his many friends and considered each of you as family. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Choate; father, Darryl Choate, and a brother, Anthony Choate. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Michael Choate, Cowboy Choate, Rudy McCart, Randall Lambright, Kevin Rushing and Jeffery Choate.
