A Mass of Christian Burial for Maudie Pace Baranowski will be at 11 am Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Trinity Episcopal Church of Natchitoches with Rev. Suzanne Wolfenbarger serving as celebrant. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery of Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Maudie Pace Baranowski passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018, in Shreveport, LA. She was 9 months shy of celebrating her 100th birthday. She was born October 14, 1918, to Robert Pace, Sr. and Pearl Lee Carter Pace in the Pace Community. Maudie worked for many years at the Natchitoches Parish School Board in the food service department. She was a devoted Christian lady who held a strong belief in her God. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Teddy Baranowski; nephews, Ronald Lee Pace, Robert Roy Pace, III, and Lloyd Ray Pace, Jr.; great-nieces, Hallie Pace, Cindy Pace Dickerson, and Tricia Page Peterson; and great-nephews, Robert Roy Pace, IV and Jack Carter Pace. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore John Baranowski, Jr.; parents, Robert and Pearl Lee Pace; brothers, Lloyd R. Pace and Robert Roy Pace, Jr.; and sisters in law, Gertie Pace and Alice Pace.
