Linda Diane (Cooper) Holman

Linda Dianne Cooper Holman, age 49, of Fairview Alpha, LA, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at her home in Fairview Alpha, LA. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM Wednesday, November 11, 2009. The funeral service will be at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 12, 2009, with Rev. Olan McLaren officiating. Interment will be at Davis Springs Cemetery in Fairview Alpha, LA. Linda was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She always was there for her family, no matter what they seemed to be facing. She was dedicated to her job at the Northwestern Watson Library, where she worked for 29 years. She really enjoyed arts and crafts, loved animals, and loved spending time with her family most of all. She was a truly great woman, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Byron Cooper and Odessa O' Bannon Cooper; and one brother, Tommy Cooper. She is survived by her husband of seven years, Robert Earl Holman; one son, Chris Cooper of Natchitoches, LA; one grandson, Brenden Cooper of Natchitoches, LA; and one uncle, W. P. O'Bannon of Natchitoches, LA Pallbearers will be Phillip Wise, Payton Gilcrease, Jeremy Frame, Allen Holman, Thomas Wayne Brittain, and Walter Williams, Jr.
