A Mass of Christian Burial for Natalie Gallien Trissler will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at The Holy Cross Catholic Church in Natchitoches with Father Jason Gootee officiating. Interment will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 9 PM on Monday, November 16, 2009 at Blanchard St. Denis. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, November 16, 2009 in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Trissler, 61, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009 with her family by her side. She was born August 14, 1948 to the late Neville Gallien and Agatha LaCaze Gallien. She was employed as a law enforcement dispatcher with The City of Natchitoches Police Department for many years. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends. She is survived by a daughter, Belinda Arnold and husband Johnny Thompson; son’s, Morris Arnold and Robert Arnold; mother, Agatha LaCaze Gallien; sister, Adelise Pittard and husband Lane Pittard; grandchildren, John Arnold, Brendan Arnold and Michael Arnold; uncles, Donald Gallien and his wife Maxine Gallien and W.B. Gallien; nephews, Rob Pittard and Donald Pittard; many close friends and co-workers. She was preceded in death by her father, Neville Gallien. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Bryan Powell, Julius Armstrong, Mickey Dove, Kirby Moreau,Walter Poche’, and Ryan James. Honorary Pallbears will be Harrison Byonne, Cary Hargrove, and Andrew Vallien. Memorials may be made in Natalie’s name to the Humane Society and or a love gift provided to Mrs. Natalie’s family.
