Funeral service for Ronnie Mack McCallister, Jr. will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in the Chapel of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home with Reverend Stanley Clemmons officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Ronnie Mack McCallister, Jr., 40 of Provencal, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born October 9, 1969 in DeCatur, Illinois to Ronnie Mack McCallister, Sr. and Judith Finch McCallister. He was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served his country in Operation Dessert Storm. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kim McCallister of Provencal; mother, Judith McCallister of Bellwood; father, Ronnie McCallister, Sr. of Bellwood; brothers, Shannon McCallister and his wife Jeannine of McKinney, TX and Storm Boles of DeCatur, IL; sister, Dawn Ferguson and her husband Curtis of Provencal; niece, Riley McCallister; nephews, James Ferguson, Brandon Ferguson and J.D. Ferguson. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Jimmy Pullig, Brad Vascocu, Jeremy Neugent, Jesse Martin, Rodney Baker and Lynn Oxley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Shannon McCallister, Storm Boles, Gene Knueppel and Jeff Watley.
