Funeral service for Mary Mozell Metoyer will be held 10 AM Saturday, December 12, 2009 in St. Anthony Catholic Church with Rev. Jamie Medina officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery at Isle Brevelle, La. Visitation will be Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 8 AM until service time in the church with a rosary service at 9:30 AM. Mrs. Metoyer, 95, of Natchitoches, La., died Thursday, December 10, 2009, in her residence at Natchitoches, La. She was a native of Isle Brevelle, La. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, where she was also a member of the Altar/Rosary/Christian Mothers Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Demaus Metoyer; parents, Louis Metoyer and Ella Severin Metoyer; two sisters and six brothers; She is survived by two daughters, Lillian Dugar and husband Samuel and Mary Rachal and husband John B. all of Natchitoches, La.; three sons, Peter Alvin Metoyer and wife Minnie of Natchez, La., Raymond Joseph Metoyer, Sr. and wife Sadie and Joseph Alce Metoyer all of Natchitoches, La.; nine grandchildren, Paul Bradley Metoyer, Nicol Delphine and husband F. J., Jamie Metoyer and wife Tammy, Raymond J. Metoyer, Jr. and wife Judy, John Darryle Metoyer and wife Mandy, Alecia Sarpy and husband George, John Eric Rachal and wife Linda, Gwendolyn LaCour and husband Anthony, Yevette Sarpy and husband Russel; nineteen great grandchildren; three great-great- grandchildren; one sister, Louise Chevalier of Natchitoches, La.; one sister-in-law, Veronica Metoyer of Sun City, Ca. Pallbearers will be John Darryle Metoyer, John Eric Rachal, Sr., Paul Bradley Metoyer, Jamie Metoyer, Michael LaCour, and Russel Sarpy, Jr. Cross bearer will be Samantha LaCour.
