Funeral service for Wesley J. Napper will be held 2 PM Sunday, January 3, 2010 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Donald Avery and Rev. James Poole officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Pleasant Hill, La. Visitation will be Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 6 PM until 8 PM and on Sunday, January 3, 2010 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Napper, 96, of Natchitoches, La., died Friday, January 1, 2010, at The Courtyard of Natchitoches Nursing Home in Natchitoches, La. He was a native of Dubach, La. He was a retired Master Sergeant in U. S. Air Force having served 22 years total military service. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Pheonix Masonic Lodge F&AM #38, Royal Arch Mason, Council, Commandry, The Red Cross of Constantine, and Natchitoches Chapter #13, Order Eastern Star, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Hicks Napper and Nancy Pauline Boyt Napper; six sisters; four brothers. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Una Lee Napper of Natchitoches, La. Pallbearers will be member of the Masonic Lodge.
