Betty M. Taylor

Graveside Service for Mrs. Betty M. Taylor will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2010 at the V.A. National Cemetery in Pineville, LA. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2010 until 11:30 a.m. at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Mrs. Taylor, 86 of Saline, LA; passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010. She was born May 18, 1923 to the late Harry Workman and Nellie Davidson Workman in Amelia, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband Marshall H. Taylor and a son, Robert L. McClanahan. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Lloyd McClanahan of Toledo, OH and Pete McClanahan of Toledo, OH; a daughter, Marlene K. Brown of Pineville, LA. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
