Mildred Jack Fernandez

Mildred Jack Leete Fernandez, age 88, of Black Lake, LA, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2010, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, LA. A graveside service will be held for Mildred Jack “MJ” Fernandez on Friday, January 29, 2010 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Greenwood Memorial Park, which is located at 2202 Military Highway in Pineville, LA, with Rev. Matthew Pagels officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA Mrs. Fernandez was born March 28, 1921 to the late Earl and Iola Leete in Lecompte, Louisiana. Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Virginia Huval of Kittery, Maine; two sons, John Fernandez, Jr. and wife Alma and Jackson Fernandez; and grandchildren, John Fernandez, III and Barbara Fontenot. She will be dearly missed by all. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at 512 Holiday Circle, Pineville, Louisiana.
