Funeral Services for Sherry Jo Ates Rivers will be held Saturday August 19, 2006 at 10 A.M. at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home Chapel in Natchitoches, LA. with Rev. Doyle Bailey, Rev. Gerald Ray Gant and Rev. Craig Beeman officiating. Visitation will be Friday August 18, 2006 from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Calvary Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Rivers, age 48, of Natchitoches, La., died Wednesday, August 16, 2006, at LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport in Shreveport, La. She survived by her parents, Allen Ates and Helen Ates of Natchitoches, LA.. She is survived by her husband James Rivers, Jr. of Natchitoches, LA. one son, Caleb Oldham of Natchitoches, La. two sisters, Peggi Flowers of Lake Charles, La. and Lisa Borders and huband Shelby of Natchitoches, La. one brother, Max Ates and wife Judy Anne of Aledo, Texas nephews, Pete Flowers and Joe Flowers of Lake Charles, Tyler Borders of Natchitoches, LA. , Aaron Michael Ates of Aledo, Texas , Hunter Broadway of Natchitoches, LA. nieces, Lindsey Borders Broadway and Britney Borders of Natchitoches, LA. , Anne Marie Ates of Aledo, Texas , Gracie Borders of Natchitoches, LA.
