Gary Stewart Miller

Gary Stewart Miller, age 69, of Campti, LA, died Friday, April 30, 2010, at his home in Campti, LA. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday, May 02, 2010. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 03, 2010 at the Blanchard St. Denis Chapel. Interment will be at L. C. Weaver Memorial Cemetery in Campti, LA. Mr. Gary was a great father, grandfather, and friend. He was a giving and caring individual, never letting someone go in need. He was a patriot to the core, serving 20 years of his life in the Air Force, where he traveled to many different countries around the world. He loved his daughters and grandchildren more than anything, and will be truly missed by all whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Miller and Eugenia McBride Miller. He is survived by two daughters, Janet Melancon of Princeton, LA and Janice Moore and husband Glenn of Waco, TX; four grandchildren, Janay Melancon, Janelle Melancon, Jacey Moore, and Ty Moore; one brother, David Walter Miller of Missouri; and a special friend, Dot Brungart of Natchitoches, LA.
