Graveside service for Helen Davis Hoob will be held 11 AM Thursday , May 6, 2010 in Montgomery Cemtetery in Montgomery, La. with Rev. Irma DuBois officiating. Mrs. Hoob, 89, of Natchitoches, La., died Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Courtyard Of Natchitoches in Natchitoches, La. She was a native of Grant Parish, La. She was a retired clerk and cashier for Montgomery Hardware and Furniture and was a member of Cypress Baptist Church at Cypress, La. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hoob; parents, Birrs Alvin Davis and Cleola Eugenia Shelton Davis; 2 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by two daughters, Vernell Ferrier of Robeline, La. and Linda Nugent of Baytown, Tx.; one son, Troy Hoob of Natchitoches, La.; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Carol Shelton, Dewitt Nugent, Morris Chellette, Tim Ferrier, Marlon Ferrier, and Daniel Warren.
