Atwood James LaCour

Funeral service for Atwood James LaCour will be held 10 AM Saturday, May 8, 2010 in St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Cloutierville, La. with Rev. Kenneth Obiekwe officiating. Burial will be in Cloutierville Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 7, 2010 from 6 PM until 10 PM with a Rosary Service at 7 PM and visitation on Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 8 AM until 9 Am in the Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Mr. LaCour, 72, of Natchitoches, La., died Monday, May 3, 2010, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. Mr. LaCour was a native of Cloutierville, La. He was retired from Natchitoches Fire Department. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He was a veteran of Korean Conflict serving in the U. S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by one son, Louis LaCour, III; five brothers, Roy LaCour, Otave LaCour, Felix LaCour, Jr., Merril LaCour, and Eugene LaCour; parents, Felix LaCour, Sr. and Ostina Moran LaCour. Surviviors include his wife of 46 years, Isabella Rachal LaCour of Natchitoches, La.; one son,Kenneth R. LaCour and Mary Allen of Natchitoches, La.; eight grandchildren, Louis LaCour, IV and wife Natalie, Jacque Danielle LaCour, Joshua LaCour, Caleb LaCour, Larry Beaudoin, Justin Beaudoin, Laetta Neal and husband Orlando, and Sgt. Jamie Barrett and family; eight great grandchildren, Celena Neal, Orlando Neal, Jr., Alonzo Neal, Jeremy Sterling, Jesicca Dyson, and Louis LaCour, V, Elijah Beaudoin and Chelithia Beaudoin. Pallbearers will be the grandsons.
