William Dunn, Jr.

William Dunn, Jr. of Cloutierville passed away Monday May 17, 2010. William was a lifelong resident of Cloutierville where he farmed and raised cattle. William is survived by his wife of 55 years Patsy, one daughter Darla Dunn of Cloutierville; six sons, Wayne Dunn of Alexandria, Ronnie Dunn and wife Elise of Hahnville, LA, Lonnie Dunn and wife Sandra of Otis, LA, Darryl Dunn and wife Marcy of Laurel, DE, Billy Dunn and wife Rita of Cloutierville, and Kevin Dunn and wife Charlotte of Cloutierville; twenty-one grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; one sister, Opal Lachney of Rapides Station, LA. William is preceded in death by his parents William and Dale Dunn, four brothers Clarence, Lawrence, Carroll, and Hardy; and three sisters Ethel McConkey, Evelyn Henderson and Dorothy Ann Coutee. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday May 20 and Blanchard St. Denis Funeral home in Natchitoches. Funeral services for William will be held Friday May 21 at 9 o’clock in the morning at the Chapel of Blanchard St. Denis with Reverend Tim White officiating. Interment will follow at Dunn Family Cemetery, 973 Red River Levee Road Cloutierville, LA.
