Trey Thompson

Christopher "Trey" Thompson, age 31, of Natchitoches, LA, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are being taken care of by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA where the family will receive friends from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 19, 2010. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday with Rev. Truman Leach officiating. Interment will be at Saint Maurice Cemetery in Saint Maurice, LA following the services. Trey was a great son and father, wonderful brother, uncle, husband and friend. He had a great sense of humor, and could make one laugh and smile with ease. He was a talented artist and musician, was kind, and had a very easy going nature. He made many impressions in this life, but mainly, he loved his family and cherished them more than anything. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. He is survived by his parents, Mike Thompson and Janet Clakley Thompson of Natchitoches; his wife Jennifer Thompson and son, Kalon Trey Thompson of Winnfield, LA, one brother, Michael Kayne Thompson of Coushatta, LA; his paternal grandmother, Betty Lou Thompson of Natchitoches, LA; his paternal great grandmother, Mollie Mae Brunning of Natchitoches, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dustin Cole Thompson, his grandfathers, Garland "Teddy" Clakley and Richard "Red" Thompson; and his grandmother, Betty Clakley.
