Henry Lee Lacour, Jr.

Henry Lee LaCour, Jr., age 67, of Flora, LA, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Christus Schumpert Highland in Shreveport, LA. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Saturday, May 22, 2010. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Ray Spiller and Rev. Ron Thompson officiating. Interment will be at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. Mr. Henry was a loving and fun person to be around. He never met a stranger, and could bring a smile to anyone's face. He loved spending time outdoors, whether it was hunting or fishing. He reached out to others, lifted their spirits, and made a difference in their lives. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son. He was a just man, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Lee LaCour, Sr. He is survived by his wife Carolyn LaCour of Flora, LA three sons, Patrick LaCour and wife Amanda of Fairview Alpha, LA, John LaCour and wife Misty of Kennesaw, GA, and Jeff LaCour of Tulsa, OK; two grandchildren, Austin LaCour and Ethan LaCour; his mother, Inez Johnson LaCour of Natchitoches, LA; one sister, Sandra L. Hudson and husband Mike of West Monroe, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
