Visitation service for Bernard C. Trahan will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2006 from 5 PM until 9 PM with a rosary at 7 PM in Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home at Natchitoches, LA. Graveside service will be 2 PM Friday, October 6, 2006 in Montecito Memorial Park in Loma Linda, Ca.
Mr. Trahan, 80, of Natchitoches, La. died Sunday, October 1, 2006, in his residence at Natchitoches, La.
He was a native of Cameron, La. He was a retired Material Handling and Shipping Supervisor for Arco Polymers Chemical Plant in Port Arthur, Tx. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. He was a veteran of World War II serving in The U. S. Navy aboard The U. S. S. Sevier in the South Pacific.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard M. Higginbotham; parents, Levia Joseph Trahan and Adylne LeBouef Trahan; brothers, Dudley Trahan and Shirley Trahan.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Eunive Schelette Trahan of Natchitoches, La.; one daughter, JoNell Woo and husband Steve of Henderson, Nev.; one son, Michael B. Trahan of Golden, Colo.; one sister, Juanita DeRouen and husband Elwin L. of Lake Arthur, La.; and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital at Memphis, Tn., St. Ann Catholic Church in Natchez, La. or to the donors choice.
