Funeral Services for Joseph "Joey "Carroll Carnahan, III will be held Saturday October 14, 2006 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home at 1 P.M. with Bro. Mike Russell officiating. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cloutierville Catholic Cemetery in Cloutierville, LA. Mr. Carnahan, age 56, of Shreveport, La., died Thursday, October 12, 2006, at Christus Shumpert Highland Hospital in Shreveport, La. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Carnahan and Anna Johnson Basco. He is also survived by his cousins, Jerry L. Wilson of Shreveport, LA. , Robert Wilson and wife Kay of Shreveport, LA. , Ryan Wilson of Shreveport, LA. , Randy Wilson and wife Annie of Haughton, LA. , Rhonda Russell and husband Mike of Shreveport, LA. , Sherry Johnson of Natchitoches, LA. , Larry Johnson of Natchitoches, LA. , Dorothy Benefield of Natchitoches, LA. and Lawrence Carnahan and wife Betty of Cloutierville, LA.; one uncle, Elmer Johnson and wife Billie of Harvard, NE. ; half sister, Rhetta and Edgar Roge' of Natchitoches, LA. ; and many other family and friends and close friend of 30 years Betsy Hoffman of Little Rock, AR. Pallbearers will be Lyndol Williamson, Robert Wilson, Ryan Wilson, Randy Wilson , Billy Benefield Jr. , Jerrell Head and Gary Johnson.
