Funeral service for Keith David Vascocu, Sr. will be held 10 AM Tuesday, August 31, 2010 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. John O'Brien officiating. Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery at Flora, La. Visitation will be Monday, August 30, 2010 from 5 PM until 9 PM with a Rosary Service at 7 PM and visitation on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Vascocu, 50, of Flora, La., died Saturday, August 28, 2010, in his residence at Flora, La. He was a native of Flora, La. He was a carpenter and entrepreneur. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Ucie Durwood Vascocu He is survived by his wife, Bridget Bynog Vascocu of Flora, La.; three sons, Keith Vascocu, Jr. and fiancé Alicia Smith, Dusty Vascocu, and DeWayne Vascocu all of Flora, La.; one grandson, Keith David Vascocu III (Tre’); mother, Vee Duraso Vascocu of Flora, La.; one sister, Anne Vascocu of West Monroe, La.; one brother, Glenn Vascocu and wife Jenny of Flora, La.; numerous nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and great- nephews that were well loved. Pallbearers will be Keith Vascocu, Jr., Dusty Vascocu, DeWayne Vascocu, Dustin Bennett, Jerry Vascocu, and Brad Vascocu. Honorary pallbearers will be Marty Vascocu and Glenn Vascocu.
