Funeral service for Rosemary Leone Lewing will be 11 AM Tuesday, October 31, 2006 in St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church in Powhatan, La. with Rev. Antony Aelavanthara officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery at Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Monday, October 30, 2006 from 5 PM until 9 PM with a rosary service at 6:30 PM in Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home at Natchitoches, La. Mrs. Lewing, 49, of Many, La., died Saturday, October 28, 2006 in her residence at Many, La. She was a native of Powhatan, La. She worked for Sunbean Appliance in Coushatta, La. on the assembly line for twenty years and Alliance Compressors in Natchitoches, La. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Many, La. She is preceded in death by her father, Sam Leone, Sr. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Jerry Michael Lewing of Many, La.; mother, Rosie Tombrello Leone of Powhatan, La.; mother-in-law, Exie Derr of Many, La.; two sisters, Virginia Moore and husband Wayne of Shreveport, La. and Margaret Wagley and husband Ronnie of Natchitoches, La.; one brother, Steve Samuel Leone and wife Melissa of Powhatan, La.; nephews, Sam Leone, Jr. and Ronnie Wagley, Jr.; nieces, Mary Ann Wagley, and Kelli Leone; host of aunts, uncles great nieces and great nephews. Pallbearers will be Tidley Weldon, Tony Leone, Pete Leone, Ronnie Wagley, Jr., Sam Leone, Jr., Bill Fair. The family would like to extend a special thanks to employees of Alliance Compressors for their many calls, prayers, and generosity, Natchitoches Hospice, all the surrounding churches for their prayers and support.
