Funeral service for Ellie Fay Brown Ewing will be held 3 PM Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in Provencal Free Methodist Church with Rev. James Jolly officiating. Burial will be in Lambertown Cemetery at Robeline, La. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 1, 2006 from 2 PM until servcie time in the church. Mrs. Ewing, 85, of Robeline, La., died Tuesday, October 31, 2006, at Louisiana Extended Health Care in Natchitoches, La. She was a native of Robeline, La. She was a retail buyer for Cohen in Galveston, Tx. and she was a homemaker. She was a member of Provencal Free Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Ewing; parents, Ellzey R. Brown and Ida Doolittle Brown; sisters, Lizzie Ordoin and Eloise Carney. She is survived by one sister, Gerrye Nevils of Fulshear, Tx. and formerly of Lake Charles, La..; Robert Nevils of Galveston, Tx. and Ronald Nevils of Katy, Tx. and several other nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bert Whitehead, Horace Whitehead, Ronald Nevils, Tommy O'Bannon, Sherman Doolittle, and Ralph Davis.
