Funeral service for James David Withers, Sr. will be held 2 PM Friday, September 17, 2010 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Tommy O'Con and Mr. Billy Weeks officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Mount Cemetery at Robeline, La. Visitation will be Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Friday, September 17, 2010 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Withers, 58, of Robeline, La., died Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. He was a native of Robeline, La. He was owner operator of Withers Construction Company. He was a member of Emmanuel Full Gospel Church. He was a veteran of Louisiana National Guard. Mr. Withers was a registered organ donor with LOPA. Thru his family’s unselfish generosity, as of September 15, 2010, three people have been given the gift of life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Issac Willard 'Cotton' Withers and Hattie Mearl Daniels Withers; sister, Shirley Isgitt; brother, Doyle Withers. He is survived by one daughter, Nicole Francine Gentry and husband Lloyd of Zwolle, La.; two sons, James David Withers, Jr. and wife Kristi of Hagewood, La. and Jamie Paul Withers and wife Brittany of Robeline, La.; grandchildren, Lloyd Gentry, Jr., Destyni Paddie, Velicity Withers, and Presley Ann Withers; two sisters, Maxine Slater and husband O.A. of Natchitoches, La. and Paula Behan and husband Bobby of Robeline, La. Pallbearers will be Marcus Behan, Waylon Isgitt, Shawn Isgitt, Brandon Isgitt, Sabastian Paul Behan, and Patrick Procell, Jr.
