Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Hudson Page will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Rockett Funeral Home in Ringgold, Louisiana with Bill Pratt and Richard Hale officiating. Internment will follow at the Page Cemetery, in Castor, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 9 pm on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches.
Mrs. Page passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010 at home in Natchitoches. She was born June 25, 1959 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Frankie Hudson and brother Tim Hudson.
She is survived by her father, Leroy Hudson and wife Evelyn of Blanchard, LA; loving husband of 18 years, Tim Page; daughter, Rachel Page; sister, Debra Cook of West Monroe, LA; sister Patricia Perry and husband Bob of Pearl, MS; mother-in-law, Melba Page; sister-in-law, Karen Hale and husband Richard; niece, Brenda Dean and husband Charles; niece, Dayla Hale; and nephew, Rick Hale.
She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. She was a faithful Christian and member of the Grand Ecore Road Church of Christ.
She taught school for 8 years at Coushatta, Verda, and Cloutierville elementary schools. She taught until illness overcame her ability to teach in 2008. Prior to teaching, she worked at City Bank for 8 years.
