Clarence Eugene Noel, Sr.

Funeral service for Clarence Eugene Noel, Sr. will be held 3 PM Monday, November 13, 2006 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. David Hiser officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery at Natchitoches, La. with full military rites by the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Department. Visitation will be Sunday, November 12, 2006 from 2 PM until 8 PM and on Monday, November 13, 2006 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Noel, 73, of Natchitoches, La., died Friday, November 10, 2006, in his residence at Natchitoches, La. He was a native of Bluefield, W.V. He was a retired deputy sheriff for Natchitoches Parish Sheriffs Department and co-owner and operator of Noel and Crumpton Electronics Repair Service. He was a member of Cane River Missionary Baptist Church and a licensed minister. He was a veteran of The Korean Conflict serving in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the Louisiana Retired Sheriff's Association. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and president of C & N Hunting Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Maricelli Noel; daughter, Eunice Denise Noel; parents, Alexandria Noel and Julia Patrick Noel. He is survived by his two sons, Clarence Eugene Noel, Jr. and wife Kathy of Natchitoches, La. and Kenny Ray Noel and wife Gwen of Natchitoches, La.; grandchildren, Jeffery Noel, Sr. and wife Daisy, Jason Noel, Grant Noel, Tyler Jordan, Katy Jordan, Gabrielle Grigg, Garrett Bohanan; great grandchild, Jeffery Noel, Jr. and Dayden Frost; ; three sisters, Mary Rebecca Hayton of Bluestone, W. Va., Elsie May Naper of Richmond, Va, and Betty Johnson of Bluefield,, W. Va. Pallbearers will be Jeff Noel, Sr., Jason Noel, Grant Noel, Tyler Jordan, Dee Holman, and Buddy Horn. Honorary pallbearers will be members of The C & N Hunting Club, active and retired deputies, and all close friends.
