Funeral service for Ruth Antley Crow will be held 1 PM Friday, November 17, 2006 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Craig Beeman and Rev. James Anding officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Baptist Cemetery at Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Thursday, November 16, 2006 from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Friday, November 17, 2006 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home.
Mrs. Crow, 83, of Natchitoches, La., died Monday, November 13, 2006, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Natchitoches, La. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Merrell L. Crow; parents, Frank Andrew Antley and Mamie Jordan Antley; sisters, Shirley Rachal, Lucille Tanner, and Bobbie Thompson.
She is survived by one daughter, Myrt Minter and husband Harold of Columbia, S.C.; two sons, Connie Crow and wife Dora of Noble, La., and Kenneth Crow of Natchitoches, La.; grandchildren, Darlene Lipp, Cynthia Freeman, Jim Crow, Max Minter, Margaret Freeman, and Mindy Acree; sixteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren; sister, Katie Berry of Natchitoches, La.; two brothers, Floyd Antley, Sr. of Shreveport, La. and Fay Antley of Athens, Tx.
Pallbearers will be David Crenwelge, Allen Ates, David Box, Buddy Graham, Jimmy Ammons, and Jim Bryant.
Honorary pallbearers will be Hugh Lee, Neil Bennett, Otis Wilkerson, and Hester Leach.
