Funeral service for Buret Rachal will be held 10 AM Monday, November 20, 2006 in St. Anthony Catholic Church in Natchitoches, La. with Rev. Jamie Medina officiating. Burial will be in Cloutierville Catholic Cemetery at Cloutierville, La. under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Sunday, November 19, 2006 from 5 PM until 9 PM with a rosary service at 7 PM and visitation on Monday, November 20, 2006 from 8 AM until 9:30 AM in the funeral home. Mr. Rachal, 85, of Natchitoches, La., died Thursday, November 16, 2006, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. He was a native of Derry, La. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Natchitoches, La. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Dorothy Metoyer, parents, Leo Rachal and Mary Rachal; brother, Leon Rachal. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Allie Roque Rachal of Natchitoches, La.; two daughters, Shirley Raggio and husband Ronald of Natchitoches, La. and Linda Larry of Metairie, La.; three sons, Andrew Rachal and wife Mary Louise of Natchitoches, La., John B. Rachal and wife Mary of Natchitoches, La., and Charles Rachal and wife Desiree of New Orleans, La.; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Eric Rachal, Eric Rachal, Jr., Michael LaCour, David Dorsey, Jr., Andrew Dorsey, Archie Larry IV, and cross bearer will be James Raggio III. Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Rachal, John B. Rachal, Charles Rachal, James Metoyer, Mickey Metoyer, Charles Michael Rachal, James Rachal,Ronald Raggio,Jarvis Robins, and Justin Robins.
