Edith Franks Garzia

Funeral service for Edith Franks Garzia will be held 3 PM Wednesday, November 29, 2006 in Provencal First Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Spalding and Rev. Bruce Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery at Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, 2006 from 8 AM until service time in Provencal First Baptist Church. Mrs. Garzia, 82, of Bellwood, La., died Sunday, November 26, 2006, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La. She was a native of DeVille, La. She was retired from Natchitoches Parish Council on Aging. She was a member of Provencal First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Garzia; parents, Steve Franks and Bertha Wilson Franks; brothers, Durham Franks and Burnam Franks. She is survived by one daughter, Janet Broadway and husband Terry of Provencal, La.; one son, Hoyt Garzia and wife Paula of Hillsboro, Mo.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Sherman Franks and wife Willie of Deville, La. and Grady Franks and wife Carol of Seagoville, Texas Pallbearers will be Randy Broadway, Doug Franks, James Bertsch, Floyd Hines, Myron Franks, and Rickey Martin.
