Funeral service for Annie Extina Young will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, December 7, 2006 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery at Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 6, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM and visitation will also be from 8:00 AM until service time in the funeral home. Miss Young, 89, of Natchitoches, La., died Tuesday, December 5, 2006, at Heritage Manor Rehabilitation and Retirement Center in Natchitoches, La. She was a native of Powhatan, La. She was a retired sales clerk for Morgan and Lindsey Store in Natchitoches, La. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was also a member of The Catholic Daughters of The Americas She is preceded in death by her parents, William Henry Young and Extina Poissoit Young; three brothers, Leo Young, Alex Young, and William Young. She is survived by one brother, John Burrhl Young and wife Ora Lee of Natchitoches, La.; one niece Eleanor Ann Cooke and husband Corbin of Houston, Tx.
